Well, I figured I would take a break from posting bird photos for a day since I know some of you out there don't care that much about birds. This image is from yesterday when I decided to just drive out to the Blue Mountains. It is pretty much the standard image taken from the ever so popular Echo Point overlook where I was standing with a busload or two of my best friends. I was lucky to get a gap in the clouds so that the light hit the sandstone rock formations.
Well, the clouds that plagued me yesterday decided to hang around today and drop quite a bit of rain. It was great for the region as they are in a bit of a drought but not so good for photography. Instead, I stayed home and had a bit relaxing day doing some reading and writing as well as a lot of planning for the next few months. My plan is slowly coming together and I am really quite excited about it all. I think more rain is forecast for tomorrow soI probably will just be hanging inside and doing some laundry and getting organized to check out in the morning and head to Royal National Park on Sunday for a good portion of this upcoming week.
