Today I returned to the Regent Honeyeater site and not only did I get to see them again this morning but I got a look at them through my camera though was unable to capture any images. Returning this afternoon for my third session after these birds was even more productive as I was able to capture a couple frames, neither of which are of high enough quality to post, but its a start. Hopefully tomorrow morning will continue the trend of growing productivity with each session and Iwill get some great images.
As I was waiting for the Regents this morning I was once again treated to good photo opportunities with Dusky Woodswallows which was nice since I was a bit disappointed with yesterday's images. I also got to photograph a new bird, the Noisy Friarbird. This rather ugly bird is in fact very noisy with a call that sounds remarkably like a little tin horn. I rather like these birds and hope to photograph the other species of Friarbirds, all members of the Honeyeater family.
