I left Warrumbungles National Park today, but not after first photographing at the Woolshed. This spot is in the western side of the park and therefore is a good spot to see some of the birds that are more common in the western part of the state. Sure enough, an Inland Thornbill posed nicely for me as I had hoped, having seen them the previous evening. While my goal was to photograph these particular thornbill, I had great, yet surprising, opportunities at other birds such as the White-throated Honeycreeper, Rufous Whistler, and my favorite, the Spiny-cheeeked Honeyeater.
After a great photo session in the morning I got in the car and headed off. During the day's travels I found a community center where I could post the last few weeks of weblogs and send off the first monthly newsletter. I hope everyone that recieved it enjoyed it. If you didn't recieve it, go sign up now and check the archives for it. More traveling tomorrow but hopefully O'Reilley's will be my destination tomorrow.
