After two creek crossings which were surprisingly tricky and a ride across the Jardine River on the ferry, I arrived at Punsand Bay, Australia's most northern campground. I proceeded to spend the rest of the day sitting in the shade looking out over the beach which was only a few meters from my campsite and doing some reading. The relaxing afternoon was topped off by a dinner here at the little restaraunt. The Seafood Extravaganza was quite aptly named and made for an enjoyable evening having good seafood, watching some Rugby League, and talking with some other folks who I keep running into along the way north.
Tomorrow I am headed up to "The Tip" and then going to explore the rest of the area.
