I feel like today was mostly spent driving. I had a successful morning photographing the Yellow-footed Rock Wallabies that I had seen last night. By the time I had finished there though the sun had slipped behind a cloud, never to bee seen again today. The rest of the day was spent driving slowly back north but taking the very long scenic route. I passed through some beautiful country full of rocky gorges but very dry everywhere. The day was fairly uneventful except for a tire going to shreds on me after I got back on the bitumen and headed into Lyndhurst. After retracing my steps to a tire store about 30 km south, I returned to Lyndhurst and set up camp. Tomorrow Isearch a local station for two specific birds and thne hopefully head off on the Strzelecki Track. |
