Well the rain finally stopped, Ihope. I finished catching up on some of my back logged work this morning and by noon was headed out of Border Ranges National Park. I decided to head east to Byron Bay to spend some time photoraphing the lighthouse there and visit the eastern most point in Australia. I figure if I went to the trouble to go to the tip of Cape York, how can I pass up an easy point like that. The lighthouse was a funny little thing but its location on the sheer cliffs was quite nice. After a bit of scouting I decided that photographing the thing was going to be difficult and that a sunrise shoot wouldn't be as productive as I had originally hoped, so Idecided to move on. Tomorrow Iam going to be on the road most of the day but it will mostly be on back roads through various national parks and state forests in the Dorrigo area as I continue to work south. I have no idea how far I will make it as that all depends on what I find tomorrow. I hear it is beautiful country so should be interesting driving. |
