Today was a pretty unproductive day as I didn't really find anything I was looking for. I started out this morning looking on the Nowingi Track where I was yesterday but didn't see much at all. Afterwards I stopped at a few other spots but mostly things were pretty quiet. Afterwards, I heaed back to break camp and move on to Murray-Sunset National Park, just to the west of here. The drive was fairly short so I spent most of the afternoon driving around the park trying to get my bearings. Mostly I have a single species Iam hoping to see here, the Red-lored Whistler and Idid a bit of exploring where I had been told they had been seen but the Mallee was virtually silent in the evening so headed back to camp to relax and watch the birds and 'roos come in to drink. |
