Today Idrove. Not much more to say about it but I drove a long way on a pretty much straight road through the bush. I made it all the way from Port Augusta to the Nullarbor Roadhouse on the Nullarbor Plain. I must admit that this landscape is a bit eerie and aptly named. From horizon to horizon there is nothing but knee high saltbush and the occasional fence. No trees, no buildings, nothing but saltbush. It is really quite amazing. Tomorrow I continue my drive but will be stopping for a few days at the Eyre Bird Observatory. Hopefully pictures to come then. |
