I had a bit of a lazy morning today as I slept in and then spent some time working on my computer finishing up my newsletter for March. Hopefully I can get that sent out here in the next few days. When that was all finished, Ipacked up and hit the road. Since it was a gorgeous morning I decided to take the long scenic route via Lake Jasper. I must say, it was well worth it is Lake Jasper was quite beautiful and made for a nice stop over during the drive. I had a nice late lunch in Pemberton and then headed back west all the way to Cape Naturaliste.
Here I had hoped to see the Red-tailed Tropicbirds that nest on Sugarloaf Rock but an hour of watching didn't produce anything besides Silver Gulls, Crested Terns, and the other usuals. Iwill give them another try tomorrow. I am not sure where I am headed tomorrow as I am still trying to nail down a timeline on when I can get a replacement camera in my hands. Hopefully I will be talking to the insurance adjuster tonight and have a better idea by tomorrow morning, tomorrow evening at the latest.
