Yet again, a perfectly clear turned into an overcast morning! Thats three in a row. I must admit, it is getting a bit annoying. Once again, it is perfectly clear tonight so we will see what happens tomorrow but I woudl bet on clouds. In any case, sunrise found me at the Black Grasswren spot where Isat for about 3 hours without any luck. I did manage to get a few images of a White-quilled Rock-Pigeon while I waited but even those I am not too thrilled with. Tomorrow is the grasswren's last chance to be photographed by me before I get on the road so we will see if the birds and the weather cooperate.
After my rather unproductive morning, I decided to hike down to the actual falls. What seemed to be a good idea at the time turned out to be not so good idea as the day heated up and the sun came out. It was a beautiful falls and well worth the walk but Iwas exhuasted and hot and tired and a bit sunburnt by the time I got back to the campsite. I took the rest of the evening off and just relaxed and rehydrated. Hopefully tomorrow will be more productive!
