It has been way too long since I have been able to put something besides a 0 in the "Number Photographed" column in the chart at the bottom of a weblog. I must admit, it feels quite good. I started the morning out photographing in Dryandra Woodland. My target bird was the Rufous Treecreeper and it took several stops before I could find a bird that was willing too cooperate. I was a bit disappointed with the images, but this one was the best and Iam fairly pleased with it.
About the time I finished photographing this bird, heavy cloud cover and light rain rolled in so I got on the road and headed north to Perth. I had a few errands to run in the city before Iheaded north. After several hours of running around in the city, I got on the road a bit later than expected and got caught in a little bit of traffic. Eventually, I made my way out of the city and headed up the highway north though didn't make it as far as I hoped. My goal tomorrow is the Monkey Mia area so I will have a fairly long way to drive tomorrow.
